Be A Hero Event
The Wish Upon a Hero Foundation grants the wishes of Americans in need. The Sporting Club at Voorhees Town Center will be taking part of a national spinning event, Be A Hero, on April 28, 2012 to fundraiser for those in need. From the money raised Be A Hero will be granting wishes to children living with cancer, helping military families, providing meals to those less fortunate, providing medical needs & devices to families, and helping with homeless prevention.
Cycle to Be A Hero is a one day event throughout the United States. Over 300 other locations nationwide will be raising money for Americans in need on the same day we are by spinning to Be A Hero!
If you have never cycled indoors… no worries our instructors will be on hand to help you through your ride. If you do not ride and you want to participate in this event as a fundraiser you are welcome to donate to the event or an individual rider.
Fundraise with The Sporting Club and be eligible to participate in our incentive program and earn Apple electronics. There is even a trip available! The club with the most funds raised over $5000 wins a new spin bike and is also an automatic partner for next year’s event.
Registration
$ 35.00 per rider
Since this is a fundraising opportunity we ask that you donate what you can whether you are participating in the event or only want to donate. Feel free to ask your friends and family to sponsor you to raise even more money.
There is a trip up for grabs along with ipods, ipads and laptop computers based on the amount of money raised.
